Seafood @ Fresh Unique Seafood

My buddy and I were craving for some seafood and since Fresh Unique Seafood was nearby we decided to have dinner here.

Restaurant Entrance

The main attraction about this restaurant would be the row of aquariums that houses a wide variety of local and foreign seafood. From Boston Lobsters to Australian King Crabs you name it they've probably got it.

Seafood from around the world

To choose what you want just point at the fish or shellfish you would like and choose the cooking method.

Acar
Acar
Rather than the usual nuts they gave us some achar. It was actually pretty good as it contained a lot of nuts!

Stir-Fried Kepah with Ginger and Spring Onion

The Kepah wasn't overcooked and were quite big. I really liked the flavor combination between the ginger, spring onion and oyster sauce. It was definitely very aromatic

Stir-Fried Flower Crab with Salted Egg Yolk

Supposedly their signature dish, but I didn't quite like it. The salted egg wasn't too salty and flavorful

Steam Soon Hock Fish

The fish was moist and the soy sauce did not overpower it. I do prefer the flaky texture of the cheaper varieties such as Tilapia, Siakap or Red Snapper.

Overall the food was decent. Our meal cost RM 242.20 of which RM 118 was just for the fish. There are definitely other places that are cheaper with better food but it is a nice and clean place to take foreigners for dinner.
