Buffet Breakfast @ Holiday Inn, Phuket

We stayed at the Holiday Inn, Patong during our trip in Phuket. Our room rate was inclusive of Buffet Breakfast and throughout my four days I managed to drag myself out of bed to it out.

The spread was your typical 5 star Hotel Buffet Breakfast that included a Hot Section featuring a variety of local dishes like Pad Thai and Green Curry Chicken and also a made-to order noodle station.




Their continental section had a number of Danish Pastries including cereals, bircher muesli, cold cuts, salads and fruits.






My favorite however would be their carving station that featured a slab of Honey Roasted Ham, Roast Pineapples and Onion Rings. There was also a live egg station where the eggs were made fresh to order and also Waffles.




Compared to similar Hotels, Holiday Inn’s breakfast was above average. The spread was quite large but the quality does not compare with Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit or Le Meridien Bangkok which by far are my favorite hotels for Breakfast.
