We were in the Scarborough area around noon and decided to pay a visit to Dragon Dynasty for some Dim Sum. It is still one of a handful of Dim Sum places in Toronto that still hires aunties to push around trolleys of different dDim Sum.
Sui Kao
A signature at Dragon Dynasty. The Prawn Dumplings were huge and fresh. A favorite of mine for many years when dining here.
Xiao Lung Bao
Not very good. The Xiao Lung Bao was dry and did not contain much soup inside.
Beef Intestines
I haven't had these in a while and was so glad I did. The tender pieces of Tripe, Stomach and Intestines were really good with the Sa-Cha Sauce.
Salted Egg Yolk Bun
The Salted Egg Yolk Bun wasn't as runny as I'd like it to be. Flavor wise it was pretty good
Roast Duck
The Duck Meat was tender and flavorful but the skin was not crispy.
Chinese Preserve Pork Sausage Bun
This is my first time having this. The Pork Sausage's salty and sweet flavor was actually quite good with the Bun.
Chicken Feet
This was quite good. The Chicken Feet was not overly steamed leaving the skin still intact. The marinade had the right amount of sweetness.
Steam Pork Ribs
The Pork Ribs was very tender and meaty. Had the right amount of Garlic and Chili to give it some heat.
Prawn Cheong Fan
Their Cheong Fan was a little thick but the Prawns inside were really fresh and plump.
Custard Roll
The Roll was very fluffy and contained a vanilla custard filling. It was really good
The Dim Sum in Dragon Dynasty is still good after so many years. It also has one of the widest selection of Dim Sum Dishes in Toronto.
