Ma'Cik Biryani @ The Curve

We stumbled upon Ma'Cik Biryani while roaming around the Curve looking for a restaurant to dine in. Seeing the enticing food photos on the menu we decided to give the place a try. As the name implies the restaurant specializes in serving Nasi Biryani and also some other local specialties.

Tofu Bakar
Tofu Bakar
Their Tofu Bakar was quite good. The Tofu had a nice crispy texture and the fresh cucumbers that were stuffed inside had a nice crunch.

Sup Ekor
Sup-Ekor
A favorite of mine. Their version's flavor was a little milder than the Mamak version.

Lamb Nasi Biryani
Lamb Biryani
I was honestly disappointed with their Biryani. There were only a few slices of Lamb and the rice was rather wet.

Beef Curry
Beef Curry
Their Beef Curry was decent. The Beef was fork tender.

Bubur Chacha
Bubur Cha-Cha
I enjoyed the Coconut Milk Broth but found the Sweet Potato a little too hard.

I enjoyed the local dishes we ordered better than the Biryani. The Rice was a little too soggy for my liking and they were very stingy on the lamb pieces.
