Montes @ Bangsar Shopping Center

Located in BSC, Montes Restaurant and Wine Bar serves up a host of Western Dishes ranging from Steaks, Pastas, Fish and more. We recently paid a visit to the restaurant and ordered a number of dishes both old and new from their menu.

Baked Escargot in Garlic Chablis Sauce

A favorite of mine since my childhood days. I enjoyed the rich and garlicky chablis sauce which not only went well with the Escargot but also with bread.

Montes has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and it still is. Their Escargots are just as good as I remembered it, especially the Chablis Garlic Sauce where we would soak it up with our warm Dinner Rolls. The Oxtail Soup, Surf and Turf and Lamb Chops were all really good!

The only thing I would have hoped for was a more extensive Dessert menu.
