Dim Sum @ Grand Duke, Markham

Situated on McCowan and Hwy 7, Grand Duke is the latest Cantonese Restaurant I visited for Dim Sum. The Dim Sum Menu was pretty average with your usual offerings and most are cooked to order.

Siu Yoke

Surprisingly good. The Siu Yoke was brined making it really moist and flavorful. The skin had a nice crunch. It is definitely one of the better Siu Yoke dishes we had.

Steam Salmon Fish Head

The Salmon was Deep-Fried and Steamed with some Fermented Tofu Sauce.

Stir-Fried Noodles with Eggplant and Minced Pork
Stir-Fried Egg Plant Noodles with Minced Pork
Not my favorite. The noodles were a little too dry and oily.

Chicken's Feet
Milk Egg Tart

Deep Fried Sesame Balls
Milk Egg Tart

Most of the Dim Sum I had were above average. The Siu Yoke however was one of the best I've personally had in Dim Sum Restaurants. Although it was a little oily, the Skin had a really good crunch and the meat was moist and flavorful.
