On my final night in Vegas my cousin's family and I headed for dinner at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. For those that have not heard of BJ's it is a famous American Restaurant Chain that has over 100 locations across the US and is known for offering good food and beer.
The menu offering is big similar to those of TGI and Chilis with items ranging from soups, sandwiches, pastas, ribs, salads and some restaurant signatures. I wasn't sure what was good and decided to leave it to my nephew Brandon who visits BJ's quite often.
New England Clam Chowder
The Clam Chowder was very rich and creamy. It contained quite a bit of oysters but was a little too salty.
Avocado Spring Roll
My cousin ordered this and I did not try it
Fried Onion Rings
The Onion Rings were quite crispy and had some curry flavor. It was very good.
BBQ Chicken Pizza
BJ's signature deep dish pizza. The Pizza Crust was very fluffy and maintained a light crispness on the edges. The topping was quite good though I wished the BBQ Sauce had a smokier flavor.
Full Rack of BBQ Baby Back Ribs
The Ribs were not fork tender as Brandon would have liked but I really liked the smoky and paprika-ish flavor. The Dry Rub was definitely really good and so was the crispy Shoe-String Fries.
The Pork Tenderloin was well seasoned and was quite tender. It went well with the Mustard Sauce that was served on the side of the plate.
The food was not bad at BJ's but nephew said it is usually much better complaining the ribs were not as tender as it usually is. This maybe because the restaurant was packed to the brim with guests and the chefs were trying to churn out as many orders as possible.
