More Phuket Lobster @ Da No.1 Thai Seafood Restaurant

Da No.1 Thai Seafood

Our most memorable meal throughout our trip in Phuket was our first day at Kang Ean Pier where we had the huge Phuket Lobster. On our last night we had to have it again and toured around the various Seafood Restaurants along Patong Strip to find the freshest seafood at the lowest price.

We settled on Da No.1 Thai Seafood after seeing their King Mantis Prawns and reasonable price.

Thai Style Fried Prawn Omelet

The Omelet was fluffy but not crispy enough. It had a nice eggy flavor and was seasoned well.

Tom Yam Goong

Their Tom Yam was spicy and sour but the flavor was a little too diluted from the coconut milk.

Moo Pad Prik

Their Moo Pad Prik was quite good. The Pork Neck Meat was very tender and went well with the thick red curry. It was one of our favorites of the night.

Deep Fried Phuket Lobster with Garlic

The Lobster Meat was deep-fried and tossed with some Minced Fried Garlic. It had a nice crust from being fried and the meat was firm. It was delicious.

Grilled Phuket Lobster

We preferred the Garlic Version to the Grilled Phuket Lobster because the meat wasn’t taken out from the shell. The Meat was firm and was seasoned just right.

King Mantis Prawn Torpedo

The meat of the Mantis Prawn was very sweet but we felt the bland cream sauce didn’t do it justice.

Deep-Fried King Mantis Prawn with Soy Sauce

This was the best way to eat the Mantis Prawn. Deep Frying the Prawns made it much more flavorful and the sweet and salty soy-sauce glaze went really well with the prawns.

Our entire meal cost no more than THB 4000, which in our opinion was very cheap considering the seafood we ordered. The food was not as good as Kang Ean but for the price it was well worth it.
