Japanese Food @ Toshi, Munich

We were so stuffed from Lunch at Spatenhaus and Desserts at Café Maelu that we decided to have a much later dinner and some Japanese Food at Munich’s best Japanese Restaurant called Toshi.

Operated by Japanese People Toshi serves up traditional Japanese Food and offers an Omakase Menu for guests.

Sashimi Salad
Sashimi Salad
The Sashimi Salad was quite good. It contained a number of diced fish such as Salmon, Tuna, Snapper, Tako, Shrimps and others that was tossed in a light vinaigrette.

Sushi and Sashimi Moriawase

The Moriawase consisted of your regular Fishes such as Saba, Salmon, Amaebi, Tuna, Eel and Surf Clam. Most of the fishes were quite fresh.

Grilled Miso Cod
Grilled Cod Fish
My favorite dish of the night. The Cod had a nice textural contrast from the crispy exterior and really soft meat. The marinade was a little on the sweet side and the Cod was very rich from being grilled in Butter. It was also served with some sautéed mushrooms.

Overall I felt the food at Toshi was above average . However for value I feel it is way over-priced for the type of food we had.
