Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner @ Tai Thong Odeon

Finally the all important Family Reunion Dinner has arrived! This is probably the most important day for most Chinese families around the world where families gather for a dinner either at home or outside on Chinese New Year Eve!

Deciding not to cook this year my aunt's family and mine decided to have our reunion dinner at Tai Thong Odeon in Kepong. We booked in early for the first seating at 6pm and ordered one of their Pre-Set Menus.



Hurrying to get all tables to clear out for the 8pm seating the food came out at an extremely frantic pace. Before we could even finish our Sharks-fin Soup three main dishes were already laid on the table.

Despite the rush the food was decent with notable dishes such as the Fried Rice and Braised Sea Cucumber and Mussels with Broccoli. The meal for 10 came up to approximately RM 1,000 including service charge and taxes.
