Cheong Cheng Fish Head @ Wan Zhen, Sg. Buloh

We recently paid a visit to Wan Zhen for lunch to sample their famous Cheong Cheng Steam Fish. Besides their Steam Fish Wan Zhen also serves up a small number of dishes which we also ordered.


Tofu

A simple packet Tofu that's dressed in Soy Sauce and Fried Shallots.


Fried Omelet

Their Omelet was soggy and tasted rather plain.


Cheong Cheng Fish Head

Their signature steam fish head. The Head contained a lot of meat and was steamed just right. Their Sauce had the right balance of sweet, spicy and savory and did not overpower the fish.


Stir-Fried Vegetables



The Steam Fish in Wan Zhen is definitely good. However the rest of the dishes are rather mediocre.
