2010 was another year of Weddings with more of my friends tying the knot with their significant other. So far I will be attending five weddings with Rick and Lynn's Wedding being the second of the year.
Unlike most weddings which are held at banquet halls and hotels, Rick and Lynn held their wedding at Eagle's Nest Golf Club inviting only their closest friends and family. The golf course was a beautiful backdrop for the wedding with our dinner held at a private dining room in the club house.
The food was the best non-Chinese individual course by course wedding dinner I've had. There were a total of five courses with the option for Chicken and Salmon or Steak as the main course. The dishes were Italian and it was my first wedding where the Wedding Cake could be eaten.
My favorite was the Pasta which opened up my eyes and set the benchmark as to what the texture of Al Dente spaghetti should be like. The marinara sauce was so simple but excellent. The tomatoes were hand-picked from their garden in the morning and was then made into a simple and delicious sauce.
Rick's wedding was beautiful right from the reception up to the end of the dinner. On behalf of YKW Motor Sports Inc. and myself we would like to congratulate Lynn and Rick and wish them everlasting love and happiness!
